Over the past two nights, I've spent roughly seven hours cutting teeny tiny shapes out of construction paper. Lots of glue sticking ensued. The end result: thirty-one custom made goodie bags for the Halloween party at work tomorrow. That's right. The Odd Broad got her craft on.
I enlisted Hubby's help and he came up with the Frankenstein design. God bless that man.

Those look adorable, great job!

Oooh, those are nice. I, too, got my craft on this week. I knitted a hat and made a cowboy costume.

i have to ask - what are those yellow orange and white things that look like a round edged cone? I have no idea what they are (I live in Lancashire though, we don't get out much).

Hi Steph! They're called candy corn. I'm not really a fan of how they taste, but they're very Halloween-y.
I didn't know this, but October 30th is apparently candy corn day in the United States!? Very random!

after i posted that i googled "yellow white and orange" and it came up. wiki is very informative, albeit often dubious.

I googled Parkin, and it sounds lovely! But I couldn't find anything for Bommy Neet- is it another term for Halloween?
