What is with all these lunatic joggers in Boston? Why would anybody willingly run in the pouring, freezing cold rain? Old people, young people...men, women...in the shortiest of shorty shorts, wearing sports bras with nothing on over them. Everybody's running! And me no likey.
I used to go jogging sometimes when I was a student in Boston, but never in the rain, and certainly never in a sports bra. Curious, indeed.
Don't even get me started on the bicyclists. I'll save that one for another day.

When the hell did you ever go jogging? Please, tell me. The only run you've ever been on is a beer run!

I most certainly jogged! Remember, my voice teacher Kathryn tried to forbid me from running because she was convinced I had an eating disorder and didn't want me to exercise? I used to run around the Back Bay. In your sneakers, if memory serves me right.

As one of those in-the-rain joggers, I can attest that nothing puts the fear of not keeping to your running schedule like a looming marathon or half-marathon! Better wet than passing out on race-day.
Er, and I'm also one of those bikers.
CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??

For you, Pope-y, I will make an exception.

I don't remember you ever going for a jog.
Where did you go? Cappy's ?

Listen, I jogged! It might have been when Hubby moved back to CA. I think perhaps I needed to somehow physicalize my anguish. K. Fields told me not to.
