The Shaw's in my neck of the woods boasts prices that tend to run a bit exorbitant. What do I mean by this? Um, $17 wedges of cheese, seven dollar boxes of pasta and the like...
I'm afraid the final straw occurred in the aisle that contained the maple syrup, where I encountered a 32 ounce jar that cost a walloping $29.99.
I can appreciate the quality of grade A maple syrup as much as the next gal. And yet...this just seems weird.
